BRIEF HISTORY

Portland Paints & Products Nig. Plc is a leader in the Nigerian paints Industry. The company was incorporated as a limited liability company on 3rd September 1985 and become a public company on 3rd April 2008. The company was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Thursday 9th July 2009.

PRODUCTS

Portland manufactures and markets an impressive array of high quality brands as follows:

1- Sandtex high quality decorative & industrial paints

2- Hempel Marine & protective coatings for the oil and gas sector

3- Armitage Shanke and ideal Standard high quality sanitary ware

4- Portland-Emcol instant Road Repair Material for repairs in all weather for cracks and potholes in asphalt, concrete and landing runway areas in airports. These brands are the focus of continuous innovation so that they meet and exceed our customer’sexpectations.
