Sandtex Textured is a ready mixed exterior and interior spray applied decorative finish which will neither flake nor peel when correctly applied to a suitable backing. It contains mica and fine hard aggregate to give strength; carefully chosen pigments to provide beautiful colours with depth and opacity; biocide to help control organic growth and a specially blended resin which binds it together giving the paint great flexibility, toughness and powerful adhesion. Durability is outstanding, tests have shown this to be in excess of 15years and preparation for redecoration is minimal, Sandtex Textured is particularly useful for decorating large-scale structures such as silos, water towers, factories, hotels, schools and offices. It can also be used on domestic or residential structures. May also be useful to create an attractive decorative effect indoors.

  •  APPLICATION METHOD

It is applied with a spraying machine and a compressor capable
of maintaining ) at the head. A one coat (40Ibf/Ina working pressure of 2.8kgf/cm  (30finish spray applied in two stages, flash coat at 2.1kgf/cm ) The gun (20 Ibf/in) followed by texturing coat at 1.4kgf/cmIbf/in should be kept moving in a circular motion whilst spraying.

White, Magnolia, Light Cream, Beige, Mid Stone, Stone Grey, Lovat Green, Sienna, Etruscan Red, Dark Mushroom, Olive Drab, Pale Grey. Other non-stocking colours are available on request.
